Mountain bike stronghold Willingen

Some mountains around Willingen are over 800 metres high and demand a lot of strength and endurance from you. The Langenberg (843 metres), only three kilometres away, is the highest mountain in North Rhine-Westphalia and always worth a tour. The view of the Sauerland from the "beautiful view" on the way to the Langeberg is fantastic.

Adventure biking with mountainous trails and great views

But it's also worth taking a break at other places: the Clemens-Kreuz on the Hochheide, the Hohe Eimberg, the Bruchhauser Steine, the Orenberg and the Eisenberg at the Diemelsee are great vantage points. Fun downhill trails quickly make you forget the climbs. A nice day's destination can also be one of the numerous huts in the surrounding area: Hochheide-Hütte, Hütte Einkehrschwung, Ettelsberg-Hütte, Graf-Stolberg-Hütte, Vis-à-vis-Hütte and our very personal tip: the Hiebammen-Hütte. We will be happy to work out the tours to these huts for you...
